Learning to be a Party Planning Hostess

I have been spending the last few days finding everything I can about being a successful Party Consultant for Rodan and Fields. I have collected a slew of ideas from how to attract customers, party games, organization techniques, favors, etc. I made a Vision Board. I even designed an invitation to send out to all the women on my street. For years, I have been wanting to have a block party or organize a Neighborhood Watch program. I have lived on this street for 7 years and only know a few of the women. So I am going to invite everyone over on Feb. 3, play a few games, socialize, and sell Rodan and Fields. I'm hoping that we will be able to set up a group of women that will meet once a month. Maybe we could take turns hosting parties, play Bunco, bowl, etc. Fun right? We will see! On to my goals... I did exercise (ran a short ways while walking the dog). I ate pretty well. I still did not ask my sister to buy products and I did not call BNI. I think I am waiting for my business cards. I feel like I just can't get started until I have something to legitimize my business. I did order a personalized Tote with all of my information. I'm waiting for that to come as well. Appreciations... I appreciate that my son fell asleep by 7:30! I appreciate my sister keeping him this afternoon while I worked. I appreciate my other sister calling me and asking if I wanted to go skiing in a couple of weeks. I appreciate my life and my health- my cousin Mike passed away today after knowing only a few weeks that he had cancer. I appreciate my husband for coming home and giving me ideas for bumper stickers for the car- ( I think he really LOVES the Anti-Age Regimen!) Tomorrow, I will attend my first RODAN and FIELDS function! I'm excited but nervous. All those doubts are trying to creep into my mind and I'm really trying to keep them OUT!!!! This Is Possible! I will be living the life of my dreams!!!!
