What are Crow's Feet? Winning the Battle
The Winning Battle of Crow Feet
What is crow feet?
It's a term that many women hate to hear; and that's crow feet The only thought that comes to mind is age and how these small lines almost seem unavoidable. Crow's feet have been named accordingly due to the shape that these small creases in the skin resemble.
They are found on the outer corner of the eye and often branch out to mimic a crow's foot. When someone has the unlucky privilege of having it on both eyes; this provides the term of crow's feet.
How to prevent it
There is some type of control to prevent these bird toes from making an appearance.
Overtime, the skin loses moisture causing wrinkles and overlapping of skin. However, because of the constant action of squinting or laughing; this can create indentations within the skin from years of dehydration and creasing. Unfortunately; once you develop crow feet, it can be quite hard to diminish.
There are anti aging products and lotions available that can replenish and rejuvenate the skin to make these lines appear unnoticeable. But, it is recommended to take precaution and use prevention methods to decrease the chance of contracting these wrinkles to begin with. Being aware is the first step to decreasing crow's feet since they are typically the first age lines to appear on the face.
In fact, if you look closely; you may be able to see the beginning signs since they often start off fairly small. Regardless, doing something now can prevent the spread.
What are the causes
So, the number one cause for crow's feet is sunlight which causes dryness on the skin and most importantly; squinting. Again, doing this over a period of time can instantly create lines. If you actively wear sunglasses and apply sunscreen and moisturizer around your eyes daily; then there is a good chance that the appearance of crow's feet won't become an issue. Even adding a hat with your ensemble is a great measure in the prevention of crow feet!
Another common trigger occurs in smokers since they are often squinting to prevent smoke from entering their eyes. This combined with squinting from the sun can also increase their chances of these eye wrinkles. And the fact remains that the smoke found in cigarettes has been proven to decrease moisture within the skin. An unfortunate added effect that is also known to cause crow's feet.
Some additional help along with moisturizers is a little massage from time to time. Massaging the outer part of the eye in a circular motion along with lotion or cream can really stimulate the cells. This will instantly saturate the skin enough to prevent crow's feet.
All of these things have proven to be effective for those who already have these eye wrinkles; so make sure to add them to your daily regiment. Using a nightly moisturizer can also help to make these lines less apparent as well. With crow's feet; women have choices and prevention methods are the first step.
Fight the battle and beat the epidemic of crow's feet!
